Product Description

The optical gel that is also used in the mechanical splice reduces the effects of imprecise cuts and a possible gap between the end faces. The versatile design is used for splicing optical fibers with buffer coating diameters of 250μm and 900μm, providing high performance connections of multi-mode and single mode fibers.

 

Mechanical splicers is widely used in ftth network for drop cable application, and also suitable for connecting pigtails in distribution boxes,splice closures, wall outlets for repair damaged optical cables.

 


Features

  • Fast and easy to operate, no need fusion splicer or matching gel;
  • Use precise V groove butt joint, no need embedded fiber inside;
  • Single mode, multi-mode fiber are available;
  • Low loss around 0.1dB ensure high connection performance;
  • Operating time is less than 20seconds, very fast (not include fiber stripping time).
  • Without fiber optic matching gel, there are no issues of fiber optic matching paste loss, pollution, and aging.
